Advanced grammar exercise 3

Fill in the blanks to complete the sentences. You will have to choose a suitable word from the list given in red and add a verb in the past tense / would + an infinitive.

Redecorate, Tidy up, Join, Not be, Go sailing, Convert, Bake, Care about.

1. If I had more energy, I — ——— the garden.

2. If I could find the recipe, I ——- ——— you a beautiful cake.

3. I’d read more poetry if most of it ——- ————- so boring.
